You guys… it’s 6.30pm in the UK and I am sitting outside in my garden in a motherflippin’ T-SHIRT (& yup that’s the Muppets!) and I’m not in any way cold!
It must be Spring at last!!
I have poured myself a lovely glass of Shiraz and have just signed up for 3 sessions with a life coach which I am REALLY excited about, I’ve wanted to do this for years but never found an affordable one. UNTIL NOW!
And I’m writing a blog post! Life is good 🙂
So this week I made this Nacho Cheese Dip from Vegan Yumminess and for the first time since transitioning to veganism in January I’ve come away from a vegan cheese experience feeling excited and more importantly satisfied! This dip genuinely tastes cheesy!
It makes a big batch and I actually look forward to eating it again when I’m not eating it, so you know it must be good.
I must admit: although I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the variety of vegan cheeses out there I am yet to find one I really like AND which replicates dairy cheese that well. But there’s so many I haven’t yet tried so I am far from despondent.
And of course last weekend I made my first vegan cake and that went down very well! I’m getting some lovely comments on my videos and they just make my day.
This weekend I will be in Brighton supporting my better half at the Brighton marathon and I know there are a number of great vegan cafes and a vegan/vegetarian grocery store there, so I’m looking forward to trying those out and hopefully there’ll be a trip report on that next week!
But for now I’m off to eat more of that dip! Mmmmmm!
